Dear Beautiful One, I am not just anything…I am a Child of the Divine Creator
I am not just a woman, I am not just a wife, I am not just a mom, I am not just a daughter, sister, cousin, coworker, neighbor…although these labels are accurate descriptors of how others can easily identify me. I am way more than any of those labels and so are you dear one.
I am not just anything…
How many times have I caught myself saying any of these limiting statements? I am especially mindful of using the word “just” lately as it feels oh so limiting and demeaning. Instead of saying, I am just a woman, I could drop the just and state more favorably, I am a woman.
I am not just striving to make the world a better place. I am striving to make the world a better place. Yes, that feels better, that feels more honoring to the God who made you and me and everything in this beautiful, vast universe.
I invite you too dear one to consider dropping the adverb “just” when referring to yourself. I think you’ll be just so happy that you did.
Sending you lots of love, joy and peace.
Janette
