Gratitude
There is so much discussion about gratitude these days and that is a good thing. It raises our awareness of the benefits of practicing gratitude. To express gratitude brings about an elevated state of communicating with the Divine. You are thanking the Divine for the item given to you. By expressing gratitude, giving thanks, appreciation or whatever you care to call it, you are expanding your capacity for love and appreciation by feeling more joy. What a wonderful habit gratitude can be. It raises your attitude to higher and higher levels. Gratitude is a lifestyle, it is much more than a once per year event. Gratitude can be as natural as breathing because there is always something to be grateful about.
The habit of gratitude can start as simply as writing or thinking of three things you can be grateful for each day. I like to review these three items as I prepare for sleep. It helps me drift off to sleep with a grateful heart. The act of observing this shift in perception increases your awareness of more items for which to express gratitude or appreciation. At a minimum, a person can be thankful for waking up in the morning, breathing and experiencing the exercise to consider gratitude. The more you practice gratitude, the more you’ll have to be grateful for.
I am grateful for you dear one for taking your precious time to read this post. Thank YOU and may you blessed beyond measure. And so it is.
Love,
Janette
